There are instances in older church records where months are recorded entirely in Hungarian words, not anything remotely similar to the months we know today. Below you will find a guide to months written in various languages, with some of them being archaic and prior to Hungary adopting to Christian calendar. Many of these months can still be found in church records dating from the early 1800's.
